What to see
Piazza Galimberti is a vast square framed by porticoes, home to a busy Tuesday market. Via Roma, the old main street, is lined with arcades and restored palaces, leading to the church and museum of San Francesco. The modern viaduct and the riverside parks offer views of Monviso and the Maritime Alps. Cuneo also has 8 km of arcades, ideal for walking in any weather.
